Patient Information
We want you to feel informed and at ease before you arrive. Here's what to expect, what things cost, and how insurance works.
Your First Visit
01
10 Minutes
Arrive a few minutes early to complete a short intake form covering your medical history, current symptoms, and any previous treatment. This helps us get straight into the assessment.
02
30 Minutes
A full movement and strength assessment — not just the site of pain, but how your whole body is functioning. We look at posture, range of motion, muscle activation, and movement patterns.
03
20 Minutes
Treatment begins in the first session — we don't save it for a follow-up. Hands-on therapy, soft tissue work, or guided exercise begins straight away based on what the assessment shows.
04
Before You Leave
You'll leave with a clear home exercise programme, an explanation of what we found, and a recommended follow-up schedule. No vague advice — just a specific plan built for you.

Insurance & Rebates
Morrow Wellness is registered with BUPA, AXA Health, Aviva, and Cigna. We are fully registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), which is required for insurance recognition in the UK.
Self-pay patients are always welcome — no referral is needed to book directly with us. If you plan to claim through private health insurance, we recommend contacting your insurer in advance to confirm your level of cover. Some policies require a GP referral before physiotherapy sessions can be claimed.
If you're unsure whether your policy covers our services, get in touch and we'll help you check before your first appointment.
FAQ
No — you can self-refer directly. Simply book online or call us and we'll arrange your appointment. If you're claiming through insurance, check with your insurer first, as some policies do require a GP referral letter before they'll approve treatment.
This varies depending on your condition and how long you've had it. For acute injuries, most patients see significant improvement in 4–8 sessions. Chronic or complex conditions may require a longer programme. We'll give you a realistic estimate after your initial assessment.
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows easy access to the area being treated. For lower limb issues, shorts are ideal. For shoulder or upper back problems, a vest top or loose shirt works well. We have a private changing area if needed.
Yes, provided you're registered with one of our recognised insurers: BUPA, AXA Health, Aviva, or Cigna. Contact your insurer before your first appointment to confirm your cover and obtain any necessary authorisation code. We'll provide full receipts and session notes for your claim.
No, all of our treatment is clinic-based. Our clinic is fully equipped with the tools and space needed to carry out a thorough assessment and treatment. We're based at 18 School Lane, Didsbury, Manchester M20 6RD, with parking available nearby.
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the session cost. We understand that emergencies happen — please call us as soon as you can.
New patient appointments available within 3 working days. No referral needed.
